More Yoga Exercises For Sciatica
I want to continue with the yoga angle on how to treat sciatica since I’ve found some very helpful videos and descriptions of how to do some of the poses.
Yoga can provide a lot of help for sciatica sufferers but, if you are just starting out with it, always listen to your own body and never push yourself beyond your own limitations.
Gentle practice every day will start to loosen your body up so don’t force it beyond your own natural limits. The moment you feel any pain, back off and rest for a while otherwise you many cause injury or make your sciatica worse.
Don’t forget. Be patient and your flexibility will gradually increase and hopefully the sciatica discomfort will reduce.
Using some yoga postures can help with your overall health by strengthening the muscles and core of the body. You will also benefit from increasing flexibility and often relieve pain in many parts of the body including the back.
